Designed for teachers, administrators and designers of online education, this course examines a continuum of ways to cheat online ranging from blaming technology to web site hacking. Instructors will be shown how less-ethical students may cheat at each step.
Specific techniques for helping online instructors to leverage technology and instructional design to prevent cheating will be presented. Participants will be involved in active learning tasks designed to examine alternative assessment techniques and to explore techniques for avoiding dishonest course participation.
This course can be taken by individuals, or by entire departments as a professional development exercise. Contact us if you would like a private instance of this course for your group.
